| Dear Friend, Because you play such a vital role in our religious movement, we want to share with you some exciting changes taking place at our Association in regards to the Annual Program Fund (APF). The Annual Program Fund is the only dedicated Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) fund that allows congregations to contribute financially to transforming lives and changing the world. After much discernment and consultation with APF Committee members, congregational leaders, staff, and dedicated volunteers, we are making changes in a concerted effort to be in better relationship with our congregations. First, UUA Stewardship and Development staff will become the main contacts for congregations who have questions regarding their annual giving to the UUA. This has the direct benefit of a closer connection between our Association and congregations. Secondly, members of the Annual Program Fund Committee, a dedicated group of unpaid volunteers who have worked tirelessly to promote generous congregational stewardship in support of our Unitarian Universalist Association, will shift their work to an advisory role for Stewardship and Development staff. We want to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to the many dedicated members of the Annual Program Fund Committee over the past 36 years. Their commitment, enthusiasm, and expertise are inspiring to us all. Thirdly, UUA leadership is dedicated to adapting the Annual Program Fund in light of the evolving religious landscape, especially at the district and regional level. To accomplish this third objective, we need your help! We ask that you take five minutes of your time to fill out this survey, which will help us better understand your needs and how the UUA can better serve you in regards to the Annual Program Fund.
