A dynamic and creative individual to be our new part-time Director of Religious Exploration (DRE).

Who We Are

Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Lakeland (UUCL) is a small congregation with a dedicated community of seekers. We have a small group of children and youth representing ten families in our congregation of fewer than 80 members who participate in our active Religious Exploration (RE) program.

Our Mission

UUCL seeks to promote Unitarian Universalist values in our community by uniting in diversity, advocating for love and justice.

With our RE program, we strive to provide multigenerational activities that engage and support children and families and connect them with the congregation and to our Unitarian Universalist faith.

The 2010 census put the county’s minority population at approximately one-third of the total, mostly African-American and Hispanic. The city has two private colleges, a junior college, and the newest state university. UUCL is the only Unitarian Universalist congregation in the county.
