POLK PRIDE Pride-in-the-Park – June 16

We will once again have a booth at this annual event in Munn Park, in downtown Lakeland, in support of our LGBTQ community.

We need volunteers to staff our booth for an hour or two, starting at 10am and running through 3pm.  Jenn and Richard Littleton will set up at 8:30 – 9am, so come early and help with that if you prefer the cool of the morning. Break-down is at 3pm with Tom Bergen joining R and J for that.

Even if you can’t staff our booth for a time, you’ll want to be downtown for this fun family-friendly event. Lots of food, games, usually some face-painting, raffles to enter at various booths — there’s a lot going on!!

Wear your standing-on-the-Side-of-Love t-shirt. If you need to borrow one, see Jeannette Manning or any board member.
