Town Hall Meeting!

On Sunday, October 12, the Board of Trustees will host a Town Hall Meeting on the future of our congregation.

As a Congregation, we have several important tasks ahead of us before we can find a suitable minister. Our first task is to work together to identify a set of common goals for our future.  

This is a critical time for our congregation. As we seek ministerial leadership, the UUA has asked us to create specific, well-defined short, medium and long-term goals. Doing so will help us attract a minister who has the skills, experience and passion to help us enact our collective vision.

Another important consideration we’ll discuss is  the prospect of getting a Developmental Minister.  Members of both the Board and the Ministerial Search Committee also will be on hand to answer questions.

Every one in our community is encouraged to share their hopes and dreams for our mutual future.  Those who cannot attend are encouraged to send their ideas to contact@uuclakeland.org.

This important event will be held after the service and feature a finger-food potluck.
