Ponderings of the Spiritual Life Director

Greetings and Happy Spring Break! I am currently in Milledgeville, GA enjoying the sights, sounds, and smells of a local arboretum. Here, they also raise bees. I’m learning some fascinating information about the lives of these tiny pollinators, just in time for our upcoming worship theme of “The Interconnected Web”. Did you know that honeybees do special dances? That royal jelly is fed to what was initially the larvae of worker bees so that a queen bee will develop? That bees form “task forces” that are dependent on a bees abilities and their age? So much to learn and explore about these immensely important creatures. Perhaps we can delve into more in April.

See you soon!
