Once again, following the tragic shootings in a Texas church this past Sunday, Rev. Lynne Garner will address the violence that seems to surround us in our society today and the need for safety in our place of worship in her sermon “Sanctuary.” She will point to steps that she feels our society needs to take to make our country safer. Also, because we so often feel helpless in the wake of one mass killing after another, and wonder what we can do, she will offer time for the congregation to share ideas for making our church campus safer and indeed, our community.
